About Us

The Positivity Project was founded in 2024 by Anwita Maneish Nithya and Melanie Lam with one simple goal: to bring joy, hope, and creativity to our community and beyond. We wanted to create an activity that was not only fun and creative, but also meaningful — a token of hope for those who need it most.

Our mission is to brighten the lives of people in senior homes, hospitals, the military, and more through handmade cards, bracelets, and crafts. Every item we send out is made with love by our dedicated members, who pour their hearts into each creation. In return, they are rewarded with the satisfaction of knowing they’ve made a difference and can earn volunteer hours for each item they contribute.

At The Positivity Project, we believe that a small act of kindness can have a big impact. Whether it's a hand-crafted card or a colorful bracelet, our members are spreading positivity one creation at a time.
